Give Your Time. Give Your Talent. Give Your Story.
Some of the most valuable things you can offer a founder aren't found in a budget line.
They're found in what you've lived, what you've learned, and what you've built along the way.
At Startup Garage, we believe in radical generosity, the kind that shows up not just with a checkbook, but with a calendar and a skill set. Our community runs on the gifts of people like you: practitioners, leaders, experts, and encouragers who are willing to pour into the next generation of faith-driven founders.
WAYS TO VOLUNTEER
Your Time & Talent Support the Mission
Early-stage entrepreneurs don't just need funding — they need access. Access to people who've been where they're going. Access to honest conversations, real expertise, and someone in their corner who actually gets it.
When you volunteer with Startup Garage, you're not filling a role. You're shaping a founder.
Here are some of the ways you can get involved:
Speaker
Share your story or participate in a Q&A with our founder community. Your journey — the wins, the pivots, the hard-won lessons — is exactly what early-stage entrepreneurs need to hear. You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to show up and be real.
Pitch Judge
Serve on a panel of judges for pitch competitions and other evaluative events throughout the year. Your perspective as a practitioner brings real credibility and invaluable feedback to founders who are just learning to articulate their vision.
Workshop Lead
Design and lead an experiential, hands-on workshop for our founder community. If you have a skill, framework, or process that would help early-stage entrepreneurs build better we want to hear about it.
Mentor
Lead a Forge group — a small community group of founders who meet monthly for guided conversation, accountability, and growth. This is one of the most formative ways to invest in a founder's journey, and it starts with just a few hours a month.
Coach
Offer virtual one-on-one coaching sessions based on your industry and expertise. Coaches commit to 30-minute sessions each month and set their own availability — you decide how many sessions you're willing to offer. Whether you have capacity for one session a month or several, it counts.
Other
Something Else? Have an idea for how you'd like to contribute that doesn't fit neatly into one of these categories? We're open to it. If you have a gift and a heart for founders, let's talk.
And Yes — Financial Partnership Matters Too
Every workshop, coaching session, and community gathering we offer at no cost to our founders is made possible because someone chose to fund the mission. If financial giving is how you want to get involved, your contribution goes directly toward sustaining a community where money is never the reason a founder can't get the help they need.
