Startup Garage is a Christ-centered nonprofit that helps early-stage, faith-driven founders build businesses - for free. We do it through a simple pathway: Events, where you meet the community; Connections, where you get coaching and tools; and The Forge, our small groups where founders are formed, not just informed.

Early-stage founders in West Michigan who want to approach business with a Biblical foundation. Whether you're still chasing an idea, testing an MVP, or just landed your first bit of traction. We built this for people who don't yet know what they don't know. You don't need a polished pitch or a fully formed business to belong here.

Yes! Our events, 1:1 coaching, the resource library, and The Forge all cost nothing. That's made possible by the radical generosity of mission-aligned donors, partners, and volunteers who give their time, expertise, and resources so founders don't have to pay for support they can't yet afford.

There's a real place for you here. Startup Garage runs almost entirely on the radical generosity of experienced founders, business leaders, and mentors who give their time to develop the next generation of redemptive entrepreneurs. You can volunteer as a coach, lead a Forge group, speak at an event, or support us as a strategic partner.

The Forge is a small group of 6–8 early-stage founders paired with one vetted leader who has both entrepreneurial experience and a shepherd's heart. You meet monthly for 12 months. Most founders have places to talk about growth and strategy - The Forge is a space to talk about what's actually going on underneath that: the pressure, the tension between business and family, the loneliness of leadership, and what it looks like to build while staying grounded in your faith.
