Mya Stone is an entrepreneur, investor, and advisor who operates at the intersection of people and profit to help businesses reach their full potential. As the Founder and Managing Partner of Stone Capital Partners, a Grand Rapids-based advisory firm, she partners with business owners, investors, and leadership teams to build scalable organizations and strengthen enterprise value through the balance of human capital and strategic growth. Mya advises both buy-side and sell-side clients, helping them prepare for transition, drive value creation, and navigate change with clarity and integrity.

Mya’s perspective is shaped by experience across professional consulting, investment banking, private equity, and Big 4 advisory. She has founded, scaled, and successfully exited two businesses, including an automotive franchise roll-up and a venture-backed hospitality startup. Her career blends deep operational experience with strategic advisory expertise, giving her a firsthand understanding that successful companies require as much art as they do science.

Mya holds a BA in Political Science from Michigan State University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She also holds professional designations as a SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA).

Grounded in her faith, Mya has built a career that balances professional achievement with a meaningful personal life. She lives in Grand Rapids with her husband and their three-year-old son and takes pride in pursuing a life centered on both purpose and family.
