We are excited to share that Startup Garage is hosting two events at Tech Week Grand Rapids 2026 - and we'd love for you to be part of both.

Tech Week is bringing 160+ events to the West Michigan community this year, filling the calendar with ways for founders, builders, and curious minds to learn and connect. Out of all of that, we're hosting two gatherings built specifically with early-stage founders in mind.

Cybersecurity for Startups Workshop

‍Cybersecurity is one of those things most early-stage founders don't think about until something goes wrong. This workshop is our attempt to change that - a practical, no-jargon look at the cyber and tech risks startups actually face, and what to do about them before they become a problem.

‍Leading the session is George Berry, known across West Michigan as an authority on cyber and tech risk. He'll walk through the basics every founder should know, whether you're pre-launch or already generating revenue.

Mission-Driven Tech Coffee & Connections

‍Our second event is more casual, but just as important: a coffee gathering for founders who want to build with intention. Mission-Driven Tech Coffee & Connections is a chance to slow down, meet other faith-driven founders in the community, and talk about what it actually looks like to lead a business with purpose, not just polish.

‍No agenda to perform, no pitch required. Just good conversation with people who get it.
